Pirate's Spotlight

Waiting to pounce.

I posted this ring briefly in one of my outfit posts. The brand is Nach and I ordered it from Modcloth. It's made from porcelain and hand painted. It's a bit bulky to wear on your ring finger, but it didn't bother me too much on my first finger. Definitely took a bit of getting used to, and I was super scared of dinging it on something! Luckily the porcelain seems really strong, and I made it through the day without a scratch on it! I would definitely recommend their rings to any cat + fashion lover on your Christmas list!!*

Kellee's December Wishlist

I'm mega crushing on the Erickson Beamon earrings below... but due to being a (stupid) teenager at 15, and deciding to let my friend pierce my ears with a needle (oh my, I DO NOT recommend it), I can never wear stud earrings. When I do, it is incredibly noticeable how NOT even the first piercing is... and hoops? HAH! One hoop faces a totally different direction than the other, so again it's incredibly obvious my first piercing wasn't done professionally... Take it from someone who has made the mistake; go to someone who is trained and can do it right! Now onto my dream wardrobe additions (read: addictions!) for December!

Salt Crystal Candle Holders

I was first introduced to the wonder of crystal salt candle holders by my dearest friend Courtney, and the photos are actually of the exact one she bought me! After doing some research, I realized what an amazing gift this actually is (besides the fact that it looks amazing in so many places in our home!). Salt crystal candle holders are made from salt crystals mined in the Himalayan Mountains. They then drill a hole into it large enough for a candle to sit inside. Salt crystals supposedly release negative ions, helping to lower stress. There's also reports from some asthma sufferers as well as people suffering from SAD that it has lowered their symptoms. Take it as you wish, but I say, why not? You can purchase your own here, or at most shops that also deal with rocks or gemstones.

You can also purchase salt crystals in chucks without holes drilled in them, and arrange them in bowls, shells, or even just resting on a bookshelf or tray in your home. Do you have any salt crystals in your home? Comment below!

Baroque + Blazer

There's a lot at play in this look, so it's definitely not for the faint of heart. I love fun blazers, as they add an element of professionalism while at work, but can easily be tossed aside to reveal an amazing outfit underneath that is out on the town worthy! This definitely is not something I would wear out to a club, but for drinks with the girls after work, you could shed the blazer and just rock the baroque print dress and spiked heels. Keep in mind, I don't work in a business 9-5 type of building, so you wont be seeing any pant suits here when I talk about work wear!

Cam is busy photographing stock for our shop! So excited!! It's definitely making me realize how much I need to get some better lighting for us though... oh well, that will all come in time. P.S The dress + shoes will be for sale in our shop (opening soon)!! Now the only question is... what bag should I pair with this look? Any suggestions, comment below!!
